⚠ Who Should Take Caution with Yoga Sessions

Yoga is a safe and enriching practice when approached with awareness, but certain conditions require extra care. If any of the following apply to you, please consult a doctor before joining and inform your instructor so adjustments can be made.

  1. Recent Surgeries or Injuries
    • Especially spine, knee, or shoulder surgeries.
    • Begin only after medical clearance.
  2. Pregnancy (without guidance)
    • General sessions may not be suitable.
    • Prenatal yoga designed for pregnancy is recommended.
  3. Severe Heart Conditions or Uncontrolled Hypertension
    • Avoid intense asanas and inverted postures.
    • Join only under medical supervision.
  4. Severe Back Problems or Herniated Disc
    • Some postures may increase discomfort if not properly modified.
  5. Severe Vertigo, Epilepsy, or Balance Issues
    • Higher risk of falls or dizziness during practice.
  6. Chronic Illness (such as uncontrolled diabetes, asthma, or advanced arthritis)
    • May require personalized yoga therapy instead of group sessions.
  7. During Fever, Severe Cold, or Weakness
    • Rest and recovery are more beneficial than practice.
